And he'll need it with what went down at Paris fashion week. In case you hadn't heard, McQueen's fashions parodied last year's designs and his music mashed Marilyn Manson. He referenced the crash of luxury and exaggerated everything from runway setup to the models' walks. It was kind of like.. I don't know..... art. Art that comes out of troubled times instead of booming economies. It's like we're allowing our fashion creators the opportunity to disconnect their art from commerce, since a lot of high end goods are tanking anyway they might as well say what they really want to say. The economy is bad, don't get me wrong, but I think we're going to start seeing some really cool stuff on the runways soon. Starting with McQueen. Bravo.
