Steal this Hairstyle!

Over the weekend I was watching Breakfast at Tiffany's and I realized 2 things. 1) That I hadn't seen it in quite a while and it's still fabulous and 2) the hairstyles in this movie (to say nothing of the fashion) were so strikingly modern! I have worn the hairstyle above as recently as last Thursday.
If you want to try it:
Take a section of your front hair. Use less than you would if you were going to do a half ponytail. Backcomb the underside of it just enough to create so serious volume under there.
Side note: if you have thin hair try a volumizing product like Bumble and Bumble's Thickening Spray when it's wet.

Then wrap it in a rubber band and bobby pin it in place so that it's poofed up a bit. Very modern and yet, so retro.
