Stop Motion T-Shirt War.

Rhett and Link are a comedic team from North Carolina (one of my Craiglist stalking cities) and they make all kinds of videos.  I hadn't seen them until this T-Shirt War video and I think it's a pretty funny idea.  You can also buy the shirts so it's also one of the more successful product placement ventures I've seen in a while.
I am really interested to see how product placement in our programming continues to evolve but anyone thinking of doing it - watch videos like these for inspiration.  Don't just turn the soda can logo out and smile.

This t-shirt thing is completely awesome. I didn't really see any shirts I would want to buy, other than the stupid ones or something. What about you?

I did love how they had a consistent aesthetic with the stop-motion stuff and the a capella sound effects. The only issue is that the names Rhett and Link is about the most hipster sounding duo I can possibly imagine.

That's why we call Royce the Thread Czar... it has taken years of hard work and dedication for him to earn that title. But he now carries out his duties professionally, making sure everyone stays on track, discussing the same topic, answering in turn, and not letting others take credit for someone's previous idea.

Aaron - Thanks for the backup there buddy! I no longer think North Carolina is a city or that Charlotte is a state thanks to Royce.
