Can I Make This?

I'm pretty sure I can - and I'm dying to try to make a lamp lately. I've been really into those industrial looking, spot light-ish, lamps lately vs. the Design Within Reach-y kind that I was into last year. This is the case for making some of this myself because I inevitably look around my house once a year and go "I don't like any of this....." (insert dramatic diatribe on needing to replace everything in my entire house here)
Or...... I could just buy it here.
