Thanks Sweden! In Praise Of Not Making Sense
This video by Karin Dreijer Andersson is really good. It's weird, but it's really good. I get tired of people telling me to do things that are sensible all the time. Taking point A to Point B directly just gets so damn boring sometimes doesn't it?
When I watched this video the part of me that wakes up at 6AM, showers and does my hair in 43 minutes, responds to every work related e-mail in a timely fashion said "this chick is odd, do NOT put this on your blog." Another part of me, the one that really wants a jelly doughnut and to play with Legos and strings and says "6 more minutes" in bed every morning said "this is cool and pretty." So I'm letting that side win today. Because it's Friday and I wish I were friends with this Bjork-like girl and because sometimes you just have to tell the side of you standing there with a spreadsheet to go away and let you enjoy the nonsense.

You just gave me a new obsession, that girl is amazing. I was a little upset that she never jumped in the pool. I kept waiting for it to happen, and then it surprised me by not turning into a cliche.
Thank you for posting! I also love eating tomatoes with salt! Ha.
that's such a great vid! I like fever ray :)
